Just as the title says, I'm looking for info on a good rack reverb to go along with an F-2B > Mesa 50/50 guitar rig.  I'd prefer something that is dual channel (stereo), one rack space, and has a good old fashioned Fender spring reverb type sound.   Who's using what out there?

Analog or Digital?

Yes Doc, I want one that's analog or digital, unless you know another type too!  
 
Seriously, though, I really don't know enough about this stuff to make an educated decision about analog vs. digital.  I generally prefer analog ... maybe it really sounds better to me ... or maybe I'm just an old fart longing for the good old days when things were much better and you could get gas for $0.35/gallon, a hamburger, fries, and a coke for $1 and get some change back and we walked to school 12 miles in the snow uphill in both directions ... yadayadayada.  I guess in the great scheme of things I'm not opposed to either analog or digital, so long as it sounds good, can take a licking and keep on ticking (as John Cameron Swayze might say - I said I was an old fart), and will leave me with enough $ left to buy a couple of sets of strings and an In-N-Out Double Double, animal style.

Bill, I have a Yamaha SPX-90 that I've had for years. The main reason I bought it was for the reverb. It has some other good effects but I really like the variety of sounds I get with the reverb in it.  
And it's never given me any problems in the 20 years I've owned it.

Bill, I love the sound of my Lexicon LXP-1. It is stereo and sounds great. It's a half rack space unit. They're usually available on ebay for $100 or less. If you can find one with the Audio Upgrades mod, grab it. It will allow for more headroom during live performances.

It may be more than you want to spend, but Demeter makes a single space stereo spring reverb.

I'm gonna go with Maththew90046 on this one.  James Demeter makes some solid equipment that sounds awesome.  He does some really killer amp mods too.  I think the Demeter would make you a very happy man bill.
 
and personally, if you wanted to go digital, the piece that I would want to sell you to satisfy your lust for tone would not be cheap.

I have no advice for you on the reverb unit.  I just had to say that the two things I genuinely missed about California when I was living in New Zealand were Mexican food and In-N-Out Burger.
 
I've had my fair share of carne asada burritos and double doubles since returning.

As you do have 2 Series guitars, my vote would be for the Demeter, Bill - a separate reverb for each pick-up!

if you are patient, you can find an old Real Tube Reverb unit on ebay...one rack space...not that expensive..you can see one on Dozin.com..Jerry's 90s set up

The Chandler units sounded the best for a rack unit in my lousy bass player opinion. Eric Johnson used them quite a bit and a former guitarist of mine had one. They sound REALLY GOOD and lack the digital harshness(probably because they're analog-not sure though). good luck

It's not a spring sound, but I love the reverbs in my Lexicon MPX G2. It's very similar to the ones in the MPX1. Both units also have wonderful other effects, none of which take processing power from the reverb.

Bill, I bought a Lexicon LXP-1 and have forgotten about setting the reverb 'cos it sounds so good after the initial tweaking.  Really simple to use.  
 
I use it in the effects loop of my F1-X so it really does act like a tank.  I figured for a $100 experiment I couldn't lose.  
 
The reason for this is I wanted to always have some reverb on with the Further, and wanted it to be independant of the effects loop being on or off on the guitar.  Goal achieved!  The only thing you'll have to tweak is the unity gain, it took a little longer than I was expecting to get it just exactly perfect.  
 
And I think it was Tom_z who recommended it too

Is the LXP-1 stereo?
