It looked to me like it was the Strings not RTF. But Al is doing a bunch of dates at The Blue Note in Sept. He's from my home town and my older brother used to jam with him in the early 70's in Memorial Park. (a haven for Dead Heads). Unfortunately he is not celebrated as a favored son. Pity.

I met and played with Al once years ago... (obviously) an incredible player, and a big influence.  I'll never forget it, that's for sure.

Doesn't look like dates have been announced but this is a partial quote from Al, ... but 2008 {summer} is RTF !!!!!! Yes,its official and you heard it here first!!!!....

I agree Wilfred and if the Vertu album with Lenny and Clarkee was anything close to what is in those guys heads now it will be  a return to some truly amazing music.

I just saw Right of Strings in Glenside PA and Stanley announced a reunion and tour of RTF for next year.
