Yes ,
I have that Instructional video too !

It is an awesome piece of history and a great slice of such an awesome player! BUT__ I always cringe during the scene when Jaco throws his bass to Kenwood Dennard_ LOL ____

Finally got round to rewatching the instructional video and I apologise for doubting you guys. However, I will say that the Live in Montreal video is well worth watching to see the chicken played by jaco's full ensemble.

And mehdi, I've just watched your youtube video, very nice ;-)

That video definetely has some good moments,... but its inevitable to see that Jaco was in a bad condition when this was shot.  I think it was in 85 or 86, and they pretty much picked Jaco up from the streets. Still there are moments where Jaco's genius shines through despite his struggle and decline. I think the best moment on this dvd is when he plays what they call Jam in E. That stuff is so tight!! The music just flows out of him. He really was one of the greatest.

I had the honour of meeting Jaco in the early 1980's when a Drummer   that I know who was playing with jaco stopped in at a gig with him that I was playing  in San Francisco. At the time I was playing my old 1971 Fender P bass  through a Sunn 2000S and a single 18 inch JBL in a Dual throat rear facing horn cabinet. When my Drummer friend introduced him to me ______
my reflex action was just to hand him my Bass_ lol____________!!!!!!
