The army sent me away for awhile.  It's weird how everything seems to change but it really stays the same and you are the one that changed.  All of my friends from high school do the same stuff.

I'm pretty glad to be back and playing music (although I don't have my Alembic).  I've been writing and trying my best to record some stuff.  I'll post it here soon.

Yes, welcome back Joe!  Post that music and we'll listen to it!

Joe,

Welcome back, Soldier, Well Done.  You've earned the right to play and write music to the end of your days in spades.

I know what you mean about things staying the same and it is you who have changed.  Trust me.

Hope you enjoy making music again, and I look forward to hearing your stuff.

Airborne!

Joe, has you tour of duty inspired you to write music that has come from that tour??
A lot of music has been written by peole who have had very personal & emotional life experiences.
being at the forefront of human violence at it's maximum can change someone forever.

Thanks for all the welcomes.  I wouldn't say what I have done has inspired me, but it sure gave me a different way to look at life.  Does anyone know a place to upload music so you can listen to it without downloading it?

Myspace Music isn't the greatest, but it's pretty easy. Just make sure you sign up for a Music account, not a regular one!

You can upload 128kbps mp3s, and there's a player built-in so if someone goes to your page, you can set it to automatically start playing.

Oh, and welcome home!
