Hi guys,

Here's an arrangement of The Beatles' classic, 'Come Together', that I did for funky solo bass. That's my Stanley Clarke Deluxe you can hear there! Hope you like it!

Nice version..makes me want to record some more but I can't program drums to save my life, will most probably use set sequences
Again, nice and funky!

Very nice karl. Great to hear 'slap' technique being used musically instead of the usual percussive noise we're used to down at the local guitar shop.

Have listened to this a few times...it is outstanding!
what about a list of tunes that we could record as solo pieces..anyone giving any suggestions..I am thinking of some right now..
Pity it couldn't be a tongue in cheek competition with a small prize..just a thought

I'm psyched that people are posting in the Alembic Players soundcloud group!

Just a note, though, that soundcloud is clear that copyrighted material needs the proper permissions. It's probably kind of a gray area, but I prefer to upload 100% original material.

sonicus

Hello Harry,  that is important information . Thanks!
Therefore  to my understanding of your statement uploading cover tunes is____    non-compliant or a grey area____without permission. Do I understand correctly?

Hey Wolf, I got your message but haven't been able to respond - it's been a long couple of days!
