Well I am going for some R & R and to see my daughter who lives and works over there.
My son is over there and get this, he is doing a degree in Music Technology and she got him work experience here..he is due back on the same plane we are going out on tomorrow(Tuesday 23/10)

Terry, my bassist friend Jim Lessard was back here in the states in August, but gigs at the hotels and clubs in Dubai full-time. If you see a guy playing an ESP 6string, it's probably him....

We had the chance of a 2 month residency in Dubai a couple of years ago. I was the only one in the band who would have given up my job for it :-(

I've been to Dubai a couple of times in the '90's and I loved it there; the most amazing mix of old and new...enjoy!

Back now in the UK, okay it was sunny when I landed in Newcastle at 4 deg C but no comparision to sunny in Dubai at 32 deg C!!
Hosted by my daughter who lives over there, had a great time and missing the place as I type this.

I know how you're feeling Terry. I've been back from the States for 4 weeks and I've spent all that time figuring out how I can get back.
