Chuck Rainey is back . You can do it!!! Get well soon. Listen to some Electric Funk from Jimmy McGriff, that album can heal anything.

Alembicians...I cannot thank you enough for words of support, not many people get a get well wish from one of the most sought after session bass players in the world(JJ) and the co owner of Alembic!
Today I told my sister about you all and she suggests I come and visit you as part of my recuperation!
Thanks again guys, means a lot to me!

Terry, I have been on blood thinners for quite a while.  I would have offered my get well wishes sooner, but I am home recuperating from surgery.  If the docs order that you take the blood thinners, feel free to contact me as I have  a lot of experience with the pros and cos of specific ones.  Most important, get well, and you can rehabilitate.

Tubeperson..thanks for the offer and I will take it up!
As if we all haven't enough to sort out in life  without minor strokes amd surgery!

Terry, I have a friend who had a stroke a few years ago; he had a stutter for a couple of months and a few other tics for a bit and recovered fully...with the lucidity you are updating, you're gonna be fine, which makes us all happy...recover well and make sure you milk it for extras, whatever they may be...Tony

Terry,

Wishing you a speedy recovery.
My 85 year old Mom had a stoke in October, and she is almost back to normal!
Be patient, and your coordination and dexterity will come back.

Regards,
Pete

I had a slight stroke when I was 42.  I'm 66 now.  You'll be fine, just keep at it.
I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.

good recovery, Terry
Not just a bass, this is an Alembic!
