Starting today, I've been getting a slew of ads popping up whenever I attempt to access the site.  This is not occurring with any other website only with this one.  It doesn't occur when I access the main site only when I attempt to access one of the  thread areas. Anyone else having this problem?

I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.

Strange.  It's only occurring on the Alembic site.  Started when I first tried to get in and a I got pop-up asking me to take part in a survey about a web-hosting service that I was led to believe was the one Alembic used. I declined and that's when the ads started.  Currently running a scan of my computer to determine if some adware somehow get in to the system.

No issues here. Sounds like your browser has been hijacked by a virus or malware.

It's really incredible how modern malware works. Just sat through an IT Dept. presentation on what links *not* to click. Freakin' amazing... even closing a pop-up unleashes a virus. I was thinking - of all the things in the world to fix with technology... and somehow we've achieved proficiency in... dirty tricks.

+1 on el-kabong, but I'll donate a lesser bass to the cause, if you can ever find the paper-hangin' SOB that does this kinda' stuff.

If your anti-virus program's scan doesn't find it, try Malwarebytes.
