My youngest (30 y-o) plays drums in a few bands in Skagway, AK.  Yesterday the main one did the annual BPOE Summer Solstice party.
Today, 15-16 y-o neighbor comes up to him, says (in all seriousness) Hey, man, you were amazing last night!  I didn't know you were secretly cool!

It's great when cool is affirmed! My youngest (26 y-o) flew in from LA & surprised me at my gig Saturday night. He shot some video of my band & posted it on his Facebook page with the caption Proof that my Dad is cooler than me!

I've seen it 3 times and others have seen it twice; a car pulls up, parks, the owner gets out to pet my cat, gets back in their car and drives away...first time I saw it I figured that was something I would only do...
