Anybody willing to part with a hardshell case?

I need one for my long-scale Standard Point 6, which is 50 long and 17 wide at the lower bout. This seems to be a fairly uncommon size for a bass guitar, so I'm having no luck finding a case that will fit.

Your best bet would likely be to talk to G&G or Alembic and see if they can find or make you a case for it-I can't imagine how huge the point body is on a 6, since mine's pretty large, and it's only a 4.

I probably need to do the same thing-I'm beginning to distrust the gig bag I have due to its age, and the Anvil case that came with the bass is way too unwieldy for anything but flight.

Did you check out the Probag stuff I linked to in the (former) sale thread?

Hi, Chris
I did check out the probag link, but I'm not sure I want to order an oddly-sized custom case from Europe. Sent an e-mail to G&G over a week ago and never heard back. Beginning to give in to frustration.

Don't a lot of companies take this time of year off? I know Rickenbacker and Alembic do. Don't give up on G&G!

You can contact Cabbage cases in Ohio.  They make excellent custom flight cases.  I have one for my Steinberger and never worry about carrying the bass around. The amount of protection is plenty!

I have a flight case that I'm trying to get rid of (see For Sale forum, hint hint). Will keep trying G&G. Thanks for the advice.
