Like you I've regretted selling an F1X (and an SVP pro too) but never fear, help is at hand in the shape of Fender's TBP-1. There aren't many in the country but if you contact fender UK, you should be able to try one out at a gear shop near you and if you haggle you can get the price down to around ?400. It's essentially the same old fender preamp that the F1X is based on, with a few user-friendly features thrown in for good measure. I'm loving mine (can you tell?)

Like Graeme, I have the Fender TBP-1 and love it. I have also owned the F-1X and find that the Fender offers more flexibility.

The Fender has more flexibility, but the Alembic tone is more pure.  I own both.

Check my recent post on the seen on CraigsList/ebay board - there is one for 475 in CA.

Hi Kevin, I've a F-1X for sale, since I bought myself a F-2B. It's like new. I'm asking ? 500 for it. I live in Holland so you still have the shipping and tax costs.
