I have a beautiful series I bass for sale, I would like to offer it here first before going the Ebay or Craig's list route. The case looks like every Alembic case I've seen, that is, grey with metal trim flight case style with black interior. I will try to post pics if I can figure out how to compress them enough to fit the 150k limit here.

Flight cases are not standard Alembic issue ? having one is a big plus, I'd say.

Hey everyone,
I was not the original owner, when I bought it, I was told that it was walnut, I was too exited to question it. When I looked at Alembic's wood selection page, it seemed closer to a flamey or quilted top walnut but 30 years of aging may also bring out some of the lighter tones I guess.
Sorry no LEDs. I've only seen a handful of Alembics live (series IIs and Stanley Clarkes) and they all had the same case I have, so perhaps that's why I assumed all Alembics had the same case.

Shedua. It's seen on many Wal basses.

I did a search on it on this site and it comes up as Schedua (sp?) from a previous owner.
