Hello Alembic club!  I have for sale a relatively new Mark King Five String.  Purchased in June 2008 from Bass Central.  I've had it professionally set up - new strings, intonation, etc.  Original case included - this has a couple of white paint scuffs on it, but nothing major.  Bass is in perfect condition - no dings, scratches.  Never played out, never left smoke free home.  Bass is just amazingly beautiful.  However, after 15+ years of playing, I just cannot get used to a five string.  So, I want to sell this one and purchase a MK in a four string version. My first ever Alembic and I've gotta now get a MK 4!    The down and dirty: 5A quilt top, 3A quilt top bottom Red and amber LED's  Heart Omega cutout Tummy contour  There's more to add, but I have the bass at my office.  I'll update the post tomorrow.  Serial number to follow - It's something like MK13xxx  Pains me to see her go, but I need a four string version of this!    Priced at $4750 shipped to the US only.  Paypal preferred.  Sorry, no international inquires please.  Since I'm new to the board, you can check my ebay profile for a history (ernval).  I'd consider trades, but it would have to be for an immaculate MK 4 that's very similar to mine - omega cutaway, LED's, etc. (blue LED's would be awesome!)  I'll list it here until Labor Day, 9/1/08, then it's off to evilbay.  Pictures to follow and thanks for looking!    Ernest

This beauty was just delivered to my house by our friendly neighborhood fedex man. WOW! Its going to be days before I can wipe this slap-happy grin off my face!
 
I'll get around to posting more pics eventually (if I ever put this bass down, that is!)  :-D
