can't keep it
i've tried and just can't afford to.
it's a 1975 short scale in unbelievable condition it is a featherweight and is 100% original and functional.
comes with blue case that needs a latch replaced and the handle recovered. blue top ds5 and 20ft cable, this bass has not had the electronics upgrade and only needs it if you plan to play sports bars with lots of neon surrounding you, feel free to email any questions and also feel free to send me any

Interesting, interesting....
Let me think for a while....

Which woods are used on this bass (laminates, body, fingerboard, etc..)?

It looks like the classic Brown Bass recipe. That would be mahogany, birch and walnut neck lams, walnut front and back laminates and a myrtle core.

top and back: California Walnut
core: Birch
neck: Walnut and Maple, 30.75 short scale
fingerboard: Ebony with Abalone inlays
peghead veneers: Walnut
originally made for: LD Heater, OR
birthday: not recorded

There is one previous registered owner in CA from 1991.

I want it...

Just different enought from my Brown Bass (birch core vs. mahog; walnut and maple neck vs mahog, walnut and birch) to justify wanting it mainly because the walnut top looks so great under a gloss finish (different from the BB's oiled fin, which is great too).  Unfortunately the tax man is going to take away anything vaguely resembling discretionary income this year...

Good luck Chris.  What a prize for whoever owns it next.

I HATE BRAZILIAN TAXES SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!

Well what can I say but I was wrong about the wood. I might have bit on this back before I ordered a new one.
