So I bought this bass on Ebay a few weeks ago:

...and it is really amazing.  Absolutely the nicest '86 Spoiler you are ever going to find.  Aside from some tarnish on the brass bridge, nut, and tailpeice the thing is near mint.  The case is also in near mint condition as well and all of the documentation is included as well.  
 
It is a great bass, plays and feels awesome, looks amazing, etc but it just isn't for me and I need to thin the heard a bit.
 
I would sell it outright for $1750 plus shipping and Paypal fees, if applicable.  However, I would also entertain trades for other Alembics... 4 string only, please.  Europa body styles seem to be the only thing that really works for me, but let me know what you might be willing to trade, either up or down.

I have a Bocate Spoiler too!!!  Mine has a Maple laminate between the body and top.  I love the tone.
