Where were you a week ago?  I think I should leave it on ebay now....

And ebay fail.  I'm offering it for $3700 before I relist it on ebay again.

This SC was on eBay for starting bid of $3,000, with no reserve set.  Fixed shipping rate of $200.  Zero bids.  Out of curiousity, if no one bid on it at $3,000 on eBay, why is the price listed to members at $3,700?  Time is money, so if I wanted it, I would wait for eBay, again.

I'm sorry if this appears to be deception (or ignorance, I'm not sure) on my part Tom, but the link to the auction is still clearly available on this site, I'm sure nearly all interested parties are aware.  That is certainly worthwhile information, but I see nothing wrong with offering it for a price of my liking (on this site and on talkbass) before yet again listing it on ebay.

From my perspective I found it surprising there weren't any bids on the bass the first time around.  At least at this point can't interpret it as a statement of its value since there was plenty of interest including a request to end the auction early.  I declined to do so since I'd had 3 buyers back out at the last minute while I had it up for sale here and on talkbass and would rather not miss out on a potential sale.

Thanks for the criticism and I hope this clears that all up.

On second though, Tom brings up a good point.  I think I'll keep it here and talkbass for a few months and then list it on ebay again.
