I've had this listed on TalkBass for $700, would do better for an interested Club member. It ain't an Alembic by any stretch, but it's a remarkably woody-sounding semi-acoustic bass guitar. Chambered hollow body, cedar top, maple neck, jet black unlined ebony fingerboard. It's set up medium-low action, strung with fairly new Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Flats, and comes in a shaped hardshell case that was made for it.

Nice bass. Good price. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a very good quality fretless. I'd jump on it myself if I had room.

That's kinda' my issue too. It's a nice bass, but with 4 Rick Turners and an Alembic in the ready-rack, it doesn't get played anymore. Plus I'm getting pretty serious about building the funds for a custom order.

(hence the need to make room for a second Alembic)

Anyway, if someone's looking, don't be shy about offers. =)

Does anyone really need 4 Rick Turners?  I really think you need to consider selling one (of course at a very reasonable price) to a fellow topic board member who just happens to be in need of one...(haha)

HA! My official answer/excuse is, I was buying hard assets as a hedge against inflation.

In reality, of the four, there is a fretted and fretless example of both Renaissance and Electroline 5-strings, so they all get played in some capacity.

Result, this Godin is getting bored. =)

Got this one sold... and the Custom Alembic build fund grows. =)
