I just posted this info at the bottom of the thread on Tony's bass and thought I'd start a new thread. This second chance did not just come through my email, it also came through my ebay messages. Ebay needs to have a way that you can actually report these people as this stuff is happening. If they have such a means, I do not know about it. I have asked the seller for more details. He or She is in Canada....I'll probably stick to just bidding on baseball cards on ebay.....

Regarding my auction:
1981 Alembic Series 1 Bass long scale w/ F2-B Preamp
Item number: 180005362275

I'm willing to speed the sale process, so please contact me A.S.A.P. via e-mail at: notravel247@cs.com and I'll provide you with further details about this.

Thank you,
stupidee

FOR A QUICKER RESPONSE, PLEASE FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO MY HOME ADDRESS: notravel247@cs.com

But stay clear from baseball cards from Canada.  My worst eBay experience.

What happened, did you get an entire pack of Rusty Le Grande Orange Staub cards?

David,
spoof@ebay.com is the place to report such issues.
Go to the bottom of a page on eBay and you will see a link for SECURITY.
Tell them what happened. Follow the instructions. Include the message sent to you etc.  They do act swiftly in relation to issues like that.  Recently I was sent a second chance for an orion guitar that was offered for sale, and sold for $2200.00.  The scammer offered it to me for $700.00

By the way Bill I don't think it wasn't just a pack of cards, it also included seasons tix for 4 people at home games at Jarry Park!

Hey, Rich..thanks for the info..sometimes my computer is slow to peel through the ebay layers and often locks at the end. I know it is costly, I suppose; but it would be nice to speak  directly with a human!
