It's one of the early Spoilers with solid koa body wings, and the decal on the peghead (instead of the logo and script in brass).

I was told they only made about 50 off those with the decals. I have an '82 Alembic Spoiler with a decal

I noticed that one too - as long as the neck's in good shape and everything works and it doesn't get too expensive it looks like a deal to me!

He also has it posted on Talkbass for $1200.
One just like it sold two weeks ago for $1525, but I bet this one doesn't get that high.
