I don't know about that, Brian.  I might expect it to go more like $3500 in today's market in a private sale, but this is a dealer.  $4K with the ATA case doesn't seem unreasonable if this is the bass someone is looking for.  Heck, five string Distillates have been going for almost $3K, so you'd expect a little higher price for similar features and an extra string.  Six strings aren't exactly common on the used market.

I'm with Brian.  The price is high, and that looks more like coco bolo than bocate.
