Well, I must say that there are Alembic news I was not aware of. So to say as my editor called me two days ago asking me if I could write a small presentation on the Alembic Darling Bass for the next issue of the german Bass mag Bass Quarterly. Darling Bass? YEP! This bass was just sold by the german Alembic distributor Station Music. I have never been able to play a large body bass successfully because I am so short.  I wonder how this would do.  It looks tiny.  I like it.

If you hit enter after every } (in `popgif {73686,} ) this will get a lot more readable. With small pictures you can take two or three pictures and just hit the spacebar (or nothing) between them (the pictures will show up next to each other)

I always thought that the Darling body and Balance K were essentially the same, with the exception of the length of the upper horn. Until I looked at them side by side I didn't realize how big the difference is!
