Good follow-up...  Leave that for interpretation.  I had the case, cord and charger and couldn't take them being unused any longer.  I will be contacting Mica for some restoration as the bass is in need of a few things.  Once the work is done, I'll post some pix. Thanks and happy hunting. Todd

Pictures as Promised - of interest - original finish, but no serial number on headstock or truss cover. One pot has 1876 written in black marker. All pots marked 19-8129 which I presume means 29th week of 81.  Who knows where serial number were on 1981 Series I basses?  Any guess as to what the front wood is?  Almost striped - Walnut or a dark Koa?
