These don't look like Alembic parts to me. Well the second one looks kindof like an Alembic bridge, but the first doesn't look like one at all.

I'd guess Stars Guitars parts...that is a good looking  guitar bridge .

I was thinking  Stars Guitars, however I once had a Stars Guitars Bass , and  the bridge had their logo on it. Perhaps this still is a  variation without the logo. I would contact the seller and inquire as to their source of information.

Who knows, but I absolutely remember DiMarzio selling an aftermarket heavy bridge in the 80's when those aftermarket, heavy replacement PBass  bridges were in vogue that looked exactly like that.  The guitar bridge I can't place.

I have one of those bass bridges. I forget who made it but it was one of the earliest aftermarket bridges that became available when the brass craze hit. Not much to it as far as brass bridges go. They got pretty substantial afterwards. It clearly has nothing to do with Alembic.  
 
Though it looks similar it is not a DiMarzio bridge which is much more massive. I still have one on one of my Jazz basses that I assembled back in '82.  

Am I not seeing something, Will, or are the strings actually anchored in the saddles?

Peter, it's the angle of the shot - the strings pass through the back of the bridge in a conventional way then go through a hole in the back of the saddle to rest on the groove. Nothing anchored.
 
You can just see it at the E string as it passes beneath the intonation screw.
 
This is a massive piece and quite heavy. If brass was good then a lot was better!!!

Yes, Will, that's the one I was thinking of.  They really made some BIG brass aftermarket bits back then.
