Definitely has PF-5 electronics, but I didn't think those tailpieces were available as late as 1974??

Wow, cool! It says 'signed by' so I take this wasn't made for J.E.?

Nice bass, price seems reasonable too.

Note the brass plate on the front of the bass. It's worth checking with Mica on its provenance; maybe it was made for the Ox.

so is it a real 73?

Based on the posting saying the serial is 73 39 it was built in 1973 and is the 39th instrument built.
