?and slowly?slowly, you're giving me the Elan bug Jazzyvee  The absence of my SII is making me look for another one, for the time being.

It looks to me like it is part Elan and part Europa in the bass. The horns look Elan as does the neck & electronics, the body core looks mahogany which is a europa item and so is the style of the forearm cutaway and truss rod cover.
Superb bass whatever it is. i guess the serial number would tell a lot.
