Howdy folks.

I'll be taking the Alembic out for this one.

Should be a good show. They're promising free vodka for an hour. Doors open at 8!

Also, the new HB3 album is done -- you can download it for free at www.hb3.com/theveldt

We'll have physical copies....today! But the MP3s are free.

I ended up only playing the Alembic on one of the tracks -- Qu'est-ce Que C'est Funky? -- but there's a ton of bass on the album, mostly of the piccolo variety.

There's also a lot of old school, retro-styled synthesis. Here's a nice little comment this guy made, creator of the OP-X Oberheim clone:

Thanks!

Thanks, Hugh. I enjoyed the tracks.

About 18 years ago you could listen to a late-night radio program in the Dallas area called Star Streams. The DJ played a terrific blend of experimental/alternative music. He was fond of Andy Summers' post-Police compositions. Was one of the best radio programs I've ever heard. You would have fit right in.

Best of luck with your show,
Mike

Hey Mike. Yeah, some good radio would be nice. Although I guess satellite's where it's gone. I could probably get some of this stuff played on satellite radio, though I have no idea how.
