There have been some rumblings about organizing a fourth annual Northern California gathering.  Is there enough interest to put one together this year?

I'd like to, provided my wife continues to improve

I'm interested and depending on a bunch of different things, possibly doable.

I'll be 'watching' to see how things go....

I had the time of my life, last year.  My bass was brand new (Happy B'day to her on June 25!) and it was intoxicating to hear  those unreal tones from all the instruments that day. And what a great bunch of folks, too.

Count me in!

For the traditional location, we better wait until  October for the weather to cool. There were many overheated folks last year.

Mica, are you sure it wasn't all those desirable alembic bodies in the same place that caused people to overheat with desire?

The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

I'm in!

As wonderful as the weather here in the San Francisco Bay Area is, you never know when you're going to be hit with a scorcher! Well, by other places' standards it might not be that hot, but so many places don't have air conditioning since you only need it for a few days a year...

Dan:

What's the serial number of the old one?  It looks like the bass twin to Old #10.

October's right around the corner...

If there's enough interest, but not too many people, I can host in Alameda.  I have a studio downstairs with P.A., drums, a bass rig, several guitar amps, and a keyboard amp.  Any more than 10-12 people, though, and we'd better be real friendly.

How would Saturday October 2 work people? That might be the only Saturday I have free that month, that or Oct. 30.
