Keavin, I just wondered is  your No:12 bass a Series bass or is it a hybrid or something before the series basses were developed?

Yes it's a (SeriesII electronic Package)the humcanceller is underneath all that brass,however i believe ron at some point decided on two 'standard electronic packages' by giving  the seriesI the basic 5 peice neck lams & the seriesII wood front/back matching lams & 7 peice neck lams W/LED's...anything other than the two basics  would be concidered custom. But alembics werent call series basses in in 1972 they were just called Custom alembics i think Late 72 or early 73 they started the calling the two Basic models series instruments............dela217 would be able to shed alittle more light on the early History.

And now for the whiskey talk.... here's the deal - We were in Chicago at a place where all of these people got together,,, and it was so darn comfortable! It felt natural to be hanging out with all of these people with a shared passion, there was no akwardness, or uneasiness, it was just comfortable. Thank you all again. I love you guys.
 
Now - what can we do to make this an annual event?
