I'm back in touch with a drummer I used to play with a very long time ago - 30 years???  Anyway, he has been driving truck all over the country 15 of those twenty years and I seem to be OK riding in his huge pickup truck.  Can I just maybe show up or not, if he gets busy or whatever?  I never know how I am doing on the long term, but I am feeling pretty good right now.  Gots two or three basses to bring others might enjoy.  I even have an Alembic 'stick' bass that might amuse a few.

Far out!  It would be very cool if you could make it.  It's always a treat to finally meet someone in person who we've been hanging with for years in our little cyberspace community.  Of course you would be welcome.  Make sure you get the directions from Mica as the location is a bit difficult to find.

Thomas , it will be nice to meet you ,  I will have to leave early but will be there at the start . I have a little coffee house gig later that day and a large Festival gig the next day .

Same here. Maybe one day I will get to another of the Gatherings. It might be a good idea to  plan it with some of the other guys based in the UK and Europe and make it a more international affair.
