Well it seems I have finally gotten around to posting some photos of my 'Lark.  I think these show off the wood grain a bit better than the ebay shots.  The graceful curves of the instrument just beg the eye to trace them.  I am always amazed when I examine how clean the lines of the neck joint are.  I can't believe how thick the maple cap is on this guitar is either, simply incredible.  The electronics are also just as unbelievable as everyone says.  Serial number 02-L12800.

Kevin - Beautiful guitar! I really like the natural finish on the flame maple - it's really gorgeous. I couldn't agree more regarding the lines and contours of the Skylark. It has a lovely and graceful shape. Congratulations!

She sure is purdy Kevin.  The back is beautiful as well.  It's really almost impossible to get across the true beauty of these instruments, but these pictures give us some inkling.

Thanks for the compliments folks, and well said Hollis.  Not only is it impossible to capture the shifting luminesence of the woods, but it is just as difficult to accurately showcase the overall form of the instrument.  The people at Alembic are true masters of the form meets function approach to instrument building.

No doubt Kevin,

Hey, I also dig the brass backplates.  I had those added to mine as well.  Very fine indeed.

How do you have your trim pots set?

Kevin,
That is skylark is sweet with the natural top.
I think it's the first one i've seen.
Love it.
