Tom, the red pearloid flames are beautiful and the red strings are the perfect touch.  Don't burn your fingers down in F and B flat land!

That inlay IS COOL! The top almost looks like marble.

What a beauty! It must be very special in person.  
 
I've been using Red Devils on my Skylark as of late, they have a great feel as well hold their tone for what seems to me an extended time, even over the coated, uncolored DR's......  
 
Maybe that's just me and my love of characteristically weird colors... I find it's so with all of DR's dyed strings...
 
Anyway, you've got a wonderful instrument.

Thanks for your comments.  It is a very special guitar.  I like it more each time I play it.
 
As you can imagine from this creation, I love crazy colors too.  The DR's were bought for color only, but I am enjoying them for the qualities you mention as well.  They keep their tone much longer than the Diadarrio XL's I normally use.  I might try one set of the XL's one day, but I will be sticking with the DR's as the main strings.
 
Valentino told me that James ordered a couple sets.  I'm waiting to see them on other guitars from Alembic.

So many people have been blessed with so many new Alembic creations.....Phhhheeewww!

New speaker cabinet for Pele.  MojoTone Ext. Cabinet, 2x12, blond Fender-type tolex with white binding, soon to be filled with 2 ceramic Tone Tubby's.  I'll try to keep Pele from smoking the hempcones, but no promises.
