Here's a shot of my newest lined fretless baby

She has a drop tuner, red side LEDs, and a knobby peghead

She joins her older fretted Flame Walnut brother

And here is a closer look at the newest family member

There is also a Distillate in the flock as well

Hey Mike,

nice. Beautiful top wood of the new fretless baby! I also have that special feeling for the Distillate. It was the first Alembic I laid my eyes on ...in a teeny-weeny black and white ad in Guitar-player. I kept the ad in my wallet for years to remind me: once I'll own such a guitar. I lost the leaflet and it was replaced by an equally old ad of a Series II. After 10 years keeping the picture I was able in 1996 to buy a Series II.

Take care and enjoy the playing!
Paul

Thanks Keavin,
I love the Distillate too. It's my only neck through and seems to have a more complex sound than the Epics. I use it for recording, but don't take it out much. I'm currently asking a noise question at the support desk about it, but I hope I can resolve it locally and not have to send her back to CA. I'd miss her too much.

Man, how did I miss this thread?

Nice basses Mike, especially the knobby headed one.
