Simon, woods are; burl maple w/spalt for the top, and a very nicely figured figured mahogany body. Neck is Mahogany, purple heart, and birch for the center. Body accent lines are maple and purple heart.
 
Harry, yes logo is black as well, please see attached pic. The black hardware, I really think just makes this bass look so cool.

Really speechless ! It's always nice to see unique Alembics.
Is the mahogany neck stable like a maple one or it requires more attention ?

Enzo, since owning the bass, I think I have made just one truss rods adjustment, and that's it. The neck has really taken to staying in one place. The mahogany does provide a rather different sound though, as compared to a standard maple neck recipe. I rather like it.
