Hello Alembic friends,
I played on an interesting song recently that included several bass tracks:
an underlying main bass track (played on a Status fretless bass)
and also several "lead line" bass tracks using my Alembic Series II Cocobolo 5 string Omega.
Here is a pic and a link to the Video.
The song is called "So Sweet the Breath of Roses" by the Incantations.
Your sincere well-wisher,
Mark

Hey Mark... welcome. That was quite nice, short and sweet and the basses sound good! Curious as to what kind of strings you have on your five-string? I am sure that everyone would like to see more pictures of it, too
peace

Nice shots of the bass! And nice tone as well.
Thank you for the responses!
Here are some pictures of the Series II bass.
I really love it and think it is a beautiful instrument.
On the recording the bass has DR flat wounds.
Those were some really special sets of cocobolo. Some thought the whirls looked like storms on Jupiter. Yours is really nice. :)
Nice tune, sounds great! Beautiful bass! :)
What a beautiful garden. And beautiful song. And beautiful bass(es).
That's a nice piece of shell in the logo inlay.
Great Mark, this is a beautifull song thanks for sharing
