Thanks, the flame koa is exceptional. I still discover nuances in it after a polish.
A fellow Alembician is taking it for a test run this week. I'll post if it stays or goes. At current prices, it seems a bit of a bargain.

That is a beauty, but six (bass) strings are a bit too much for me :)
I went from a Ripper 4 in 78, to a Mockingbird 4 to a Spoiler 4(83) to a narrow Spoiler 6 (87), then the wide 6, then a 7 then 5's. I've played 6's the most since 1987. I have benefited from playing all scales and string configurations. There is even a 9 string Tanatos in the fold. Must dust that one off.
You may enjoy the extra strings. I spent a lot of my time in power trios so they came in handy. That and midi pedals. Must dust those off too.

Whats with the reason for the spacing difference between the G & C strings. It looks like the G-string is in a different slot lot on the bridge?
I think the G-string was just mistakenly out of it's bridge slot when the pic was taken...
As usual, the astute Mr. Johnson is correct. If you look close and enlarge the pic, you will see the slot. Years of wonderful fusion hone ones attention to detail!
