I hope you get a quick sale. I will post a link onto UK Basschat there are a few members there who are positive about alembic so it may help.

I'd love to bring her back to Seattle,
prob be sold before I raised some cash,c'est la vie.
{I miss the purple fretless elan that groovelines didn't sell back to me...I guess he chose $ over karma .../rant}
I need another Elan , that stormburst is a beauty,plus it has FC mojo now ;) !!
Elans . . . yum. I've always liked this bass, good luck Flip.

Cool profile picture Groovelines... :-)

...this, is one I'd so love to own... I hope you can move it soon.....
ANYBODY thinking of a Sadowsky, etc., needs to jump on this: Way better than ANY of the various Fender clones, and the PJ Activators are a nice Alembicized take on a PJ setup: Not quite the hi-fi neutrality of the various Alembic soapbars, but a meaty tone that's clearer than most any EMG, Bart, setup out there. The Alembic P Activator will pull satellites out of low Earth orbit, and this has the J pickup a shell width away from the bridge where it's a bit warmer. And typically dead quiet, like all Alembics.
And even though this one is all 'white wood' (no mahogany, etc.), the neckthru will carry a solid fundamental through to the amp in a way bolt-neck guitars cannot, a neat addition to this tone profile.
Get it while you can !

Thanx all!
Joey: Spot on, thanx!
Some pics of the case and I tried to capture some dings on the bass:

This scared me a bit after traveling +/-400 miles to pick her up:

Missing on both sides, will come with an easy to use strap for secure closing.

Most prominent dings on the bass: Little line through the finish on the top edge of the headstock
