These neck pictures were from June, just before my doctor put me on bedrest for the remainder of my pregnancy. Sorry I forget to get this going sooner. This is a little like a timewarp, because here's your guitar today:

After the inlay, the amber tint you added will go on in spray. Hope you like how it's shaping up.
WOW! Lookin' SCHWEEEEET! The different flames and quilts really look good. She should sound BRIGHT, Too!!
Enjoy ! Mike (the 'Ho)
thanks mica..looks great..psyched to see the inlay, bevel, tint and medalion when we get there
Incredible top and back Tom. That's going to be a great looking guitar!
Play it healthy!
Art
thanks Art...can't wait to get my mitts on it
Tom:
Further with amber tint and bevel. Obviously a man of impeccable taste. You've got a real beauty shaping up here. Looking forward to seeing what you have in store for the inlay and medalion. Enjoy the ride.
Bill, tgo
That's a really nice quilt!
Mica...does your mom have a sketch of the first fret inlay?...I know that she is working on the medalion as we speak
Tom
Here's the fretboard inlays in place:

Beautiful inlays!!!
What a stunning guitar!
thanks for the posting Mica...the inlays look terrific!
Wow. The inlays give it a very elegant look. Nice!
A medallion inlay later:

and a finishing paw print on the first fret:

And this "puppy" is back in spray. Just needs about 3-4 more coats of finish, final cure, rubout then setup.
Holy smokes. I know it's been a L-O-N-G build process, but that is an absolutely stunning guitar and the inlays are incredible
That medallion is just too cool !!
And now with amber tint:

I took this with a flash, so there's a bit of blowout in the color - in person the tint is one even shade all across, really beautiful!
Just hanging out now in final cure.
Really beautiful !
Here it is done:

Fresh batch of cases is here, and your guitar will arrive at the shop next week. Looks and plays fantastic!
Tom:
WOW!!!!!! HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL!!!!!! A REAL BEAUTY!!!!
I'll bet you are salivating to get your hands on it. I suspect when you do, you won't be letting go for a bit! Enjoy. We'll have to get a Further gathering together some day.
Bill, tgo
That is absolutely beautiful!
I agree; wow!
I guess it's all right...if you're into that sort of thing. You know, exquisite tops, amazing inlays, etc, etc...
WOW!!!!!
Those inlays are just the bizz!
Where did the idea come from??
