I saw your axe when I stopped by Alembic yesterday. The inlay is stunning. Very creative, unique, and appropriate (I understand you're an anesthesiologist). Absolutely beautiful guitar.

Hey now, I picked up my new tribute guitar the other day St. Stephen and I have to truly thank all of the artisans who created this outstanding musical instrument. Susan, Mica , Valentino and the gang made the process quite enjoyable as I had never purchased a custom guitar before. The tone is superb, the craftsmanship exemplary and the inlays a thing of perfection. I have been playing since 1978 (not seriously but for fun) and it is nice to have the guitar I always wanted. THANK YOU !!!!

By the way - I'm sure we would all love to see some photos of the finished guitar in the Showcase section.

Do the filters in the guitars work the same as basses or do they effect a higher frequency range and with a different Q?

Alembic guitars have low pass filters too. Just like the basses. They allow everything below where they are set to pass and filter out everything above. The Q just boosts the particular frequency that the rotary pot is set to, just like in a bass, IIRC.
