I couldn't find words, but Toby's Incredible works for me too!
Good grief! Buckeye just doesn't get any better than that! Congrats!
WOW!
I'm guessing that more than a few folks are seriously wishing they had gotten their hands on that plank.
I think Danno might have passed up his usual black paint thanks very much for a shot at this one.
Once again WOW! ... just WOW!!!

I keep looking at these wood samples, and I keep saying that they are the most beautiful pieces that I've seen--------but-hell this is another classic of all time.
Let's thank Mica & co (and Chip) for being able to foresee such beauty.
Gulp!!!!!!!

WWWWWOOOOOOoooo!!!!!! ffffffffshshshshshshswawhat the HOLY!
No words for it. Excuse me I am trying to get my jaw off the floor.
You are one lucky somanuhgun!
Utterly mind-boggling!
If I wasn't getting Coco Bolo for the legendary sound, I think this wood would be my wood of choice!
Hey
You are gonna have one beautiful instrument!!!
OK, I like my bass a lot (Karen's), but that is one cool piece of wood you have there.
Man, that wood's about as inconspicuous as a bear in a phone booth!!! What a stunning instrument! What electronics did you spec, Chuck?
Paul
Judging from the routing and drill pattern, I'd say it's a standard Series II.
Hope you're getting chrome or nickel hardware. IMO it would go better with the wood than the gold.
Gourgeous gourgeous!
How do they fill the voids in this wood? Is it just filled with the clear coat polyester?
I love this wood, Paul
That's the prettiest buckeye I've ever seen. The blue/green/grey to cream contrast is beautiful.
