Artie's got a really interesting guitar taking form:

It's based on the 20th Anniversary body, with a smooth bottom and as a set neck. Lot of grain for Padauk (Vermilion).

Neck roughed and ready for the fingerboard. The veneer on the peghead and the body laminate match really well - the lighting in the two areas yileds different colors.
