That, seriously now, is the nicest looking Alembic (besides mine!) I have ever seen.

It's just a really amazing bass.

That is absolutely the fretless that I want (but with series II electronics). Congratulations Its a really beautiful instrument. I hope you get the pleasure that she is going to give endlessly.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. It sounds amazing. It's a bit darker than it looks in these photos but lighting is tricky.

Finally took some better pictures. Flash does weird things to macassar ebony. These are closer to the real color than the first set. Enjoy!

I have an Europa five and believe me they are heavy. A thick padded strap is essential

I really do like your bass. Fabulous top on it, and the more I see Europas the more I like them. I may even start preferring them over Balance K models. Does the ebony top finish off what the single ebony stringer starts? I am very curious about the sound put out by the top, the neck lams, and it being fretless. Looks like a keeper to me.
