The specs: 34" scale MK Signature Deluxe Omega Cutout Custumized pistol grip horn [in between triple omega and standard horn] Coco Bolo front/back body- mahogany core/maple/purpleheart lams tummy contour custom neck -3m/2p [epic neck dimensions] crown peghead with purpleheart lams instead of walnut signature electronics with dummy pickup and customized with europa bass boost/cut switch[a definite plus feature on this instrument] top hat knobs [for classic look] The funny thing about Alembics, is you can never capture the beauty and quality of these instruments in a photo! any feedback, I would love to here from you. Thanks Brad
Very nice trio Brad. I really like the Omega bodies. The pistol grip is cool too. Is your MK as heavy as your Series bass? I have a MK with a Burl Maple top and back and it is WAY heavier than my Series II with Walnut top and back.
The Series II and the MK seem to weight about the same to me. I can tell you in the first 5 minutes of playing the MK, with the custom neck and the signature electronics with the Europa bass boost switch, the playability and sound I was instantly sold! So I guess my Series II will be a hanger queen for awhile.
whats up with the dummy pickup on the mark king???
does it actually do anything? pray tell!
Very nice presentation, Brad. An Alembic for each of the last 3 decades...something we should all aspire to! It is indeed a fine looking family.......
It's like King - Queen - Jack (in Alembic kingdom)
hehehe...very cool Brad!!
I like your custom Mark King 2006.
