I was watching Return of the Jedi last night, and after seeing the ewoks, I made the most genius, yet obvious connection ever...

I haven't stopped laughing for almost 20 minutes... It just doesn't get old no matter how many times I look at it!
Careful...your face may get stuck like that (everything in moderation)
thanks for the cheers
At point blank range, George Clinton put Alembic on the map for me as a teenager...
And after meeting with the Wickersham family in person, I was able to direct my gratitude, respect, and admiration down to the human level. It was truly an amazing feeling of joy one must express, for a kid who came from the inner city, but happen to have a great set of ears, to full circle to Alembic's greatness
In honor of George Clinton Soul Hippies
Check out this video where George open up a jam called: Cosmic Slop Rocker - Eddie Hazel Kills an Alembic in over drive...
And if that ain't Illegal Yet check out the second clip called: Maggot Brain Michael Hampton
as the costumed as a Grim-Reepper, who's killing me softy with his Series I Guitar song!

I love listening to that overdriven Alembic guitar! Its what made me realize I could shred on my old Series!
yeah it's good to know that an overdriven alembic can sound really good with a great bluesy sound.
Fantastic clip.
Is that the same guy who used to wear a nappy on-stage?
jazzyvee
That's Garry Diaperman Shider
Mike always was the Grim Reeper. He always killed with his Alembic.
Back in the day, with the Grim Reeper theme, he would wear a Fencing mask giving the appearance of a faceless immortal. That was Mike. He was out to kill the audience will killer solos using Alembics.
Now those guys wear jeans, and colorful Hawaiian Shirts. Boy does times change.
This is going to sound weird, but I have never seen a Star Wars Movie. The resemblance is uncanny though. I met George Clinton when I was playing in Nashville several years ago. He was very friendly, courteous and respectful.
