The Alembic gap on this wall got filled on Monday by my latest guitar. It's in the center of the lower row and was ordered as a backup for the one to its left. Since getting it two years ago, it's the only guitar I've played and the only one I take out. I started getting nervous at the thought of being without it if it ever needed work done, so a second was a must. There are some very minor differences, the most noticeable being the abbreviated point on the bottom. Throughout the build process I referred to it as "The Virgin" because it's the only one of my Alembics that's never been inlaid, but as soon as I saw that point, I've been referring to it as "The Nub." I'll post more detailed pictures in the Showcase section in the next few days.
Absolutely fabulous! You know you're still one short of a complete collection of tail end variations, right?
