More praise for Alembic!

I just have to gush a bit:  
I am listening back to a recording my fun, goof-off cover band (www.hometownsweethearts.com)just did and I can't believe how many sounds I was able to pull out of my Excel! Fat 60's pick tones, aggressive pick tones, big puffy, good ol' pbass tones, jaco punchytime- dang!  I just have a filter w/ 3 position Q switch and the amp was just set with some bass boost and i never touched it.  
I have had way too many basses to mention and I have never been able to pull this much out of one.  
 
Ok, I'm done now.
