I have to find out a bit on this bass. If I read the serial number right it's a 93 because it starts out 93 XXXX. I thought they started making Epics in 1994.
I know that discussion came up here before, so I don't think you're the first one to find one dated '93. Let me look...
okay...
I just looked it up and found that one had a maple top, a build date in late November '93 and was serial number 93W8025.
Nice Epic john. Enjoy it.
Graeme
Beautiful top! Best of luck with it.

Congrats John,I'm sure that you will have great satisfaction from your beautiful Instrument!
Looks great for her age. Nice find.
Thank you all. I love this bass. I actually sold my 1976 Fender Jazz Bass to get this one. She is sweet.
You definitly did the right thing! Once you go Alembic you'll never go back- Michael (Flame Koa Essence)
Beautiful bass! I too sold my Fender (and a Ric) to buy my Alembic....best thing I ever did. Congrats!!!!!
Wow, great pictures of a beautiful bass! Well done. I'm a guitarist myself, but once I got my hands on my Tribute, I realized everything had changed for the better forever and I'm never looking back.
