This is a beautiful bass (http://alembicguitars.net/info/fc_soulbass.html).  The Black Tahitian Mother of Pearl and the Blackened Hardware combine with the Macassar Ebony top beautifully.  It's a great example of how these two choices can add so much when combined with the right top wood.  Congrats John!

Thanks for all the kind words. As you can imagine the sustain goes on forever! Rusty, like you, the blackened hardware is a must on all my future Alembics.  Jazzy i know you and i are Europa freaks. This is truly a work of art and plays amazing. John
