that inlay on the 12th fret is a heart
What a beautiful guitar!
By the way... do you have a special design for well endowed men as well?
Michael
Excuuuuuse me! Isn't my picture enough to answer that question?
Bill, tgo
Bill, togo, that (endowment) must have been a popular option in April, 1955!!! It's always interesting to see what club members look like. Attorney, leftie, deadhead. Not sure what to expect. You look like you're holding up better than I am for our age.
Rich
Hmmmm... I suppose that a Texan, with an excessive endowment and an excessive stomach would find the Martin Backpacker to be the perfect instrument.
Michael
ok
you made me edit the post....lol
Now I feel guilty. I didn't want you to edit the post... just include a picture with the actual intended customer playing it .
Cheers,
Michael
Wow,
this is a cute little beauty!
Looks really great.....
Oliver (Spyderman)
Cool! What is the scale length on that?
I believe it is a standard Gibson scale: 24.75 It plays a lot bigger than it looks.
Bill, tgo
So is this another custom commission, or is this gonna be part of the standard model range?

you can buy this one,.,,, call susan
as i understand
its joining the std model family
Any idea how much this would cost --as pictured? ALSO, anyone know the weight on it?
Are you talking about the guitar or me? If me, you'll have to speak to my wife about cost (she might let me go cheap - LOL). If your asking about my weight, the answer is classified, but it is 20 lbs less than 5 weeks ago.
Bill, tgo
HAHA Funny! The guitar, not you!!!!
I like your tie though......
Cosmic:
Thanks, it's a Garcia, of course!
Bill, tgo
Yeah, I thought I recognized the patterrn. Nothing I like more than going to a business meeting with some conservative/ corporate slug types and putting my Garcia tie. I feel like an undercover deviant with the tie smiling right in their stiff, collared faces!
I don't wear a suit or a tie to those types meetings. Just my good old jeans and a button up shirt. However I would much rather wear a tie-dye Alembic shirt if I could get one. :-)
