I'm guessing the next one will probably be stanley clarke's 30th aniv maybe?
speaking of stan,he's having another bass being built called the spellbinder, have you heard? i dont know if alembic is building it or not, but just curios, check out his site.
I thought the Spellbinder was a limited-run bass made during the 70s...is the line being resurrected?
I actually got to play one of the original basses...the guy who made them is local to my area (Albany, NY) and sold one to a music store in 2000 or so.
Nice bass, but not an Alembic. ;)
It's coming along. Probably be posted tomorrow. I'm off the San Jose in a few minutes, I'll be working on the FC until the wee hours.
We don't make a Spellbinder bass.
If traffic's anything like the last time I went from San Francisco to San Jose you won't get there until the wee hours.

The wee hours is probably the only time traffic moves around San Jose...

It was the wee hours when we got home, since we decided to wait until the traffic calmed by visiting with some family. I didn't finish up the Featured Custom (http://www.alembicguitars.net/info/fc_roman.html) until today. Enjoy!
