I need to get my Epic 4-string appraised for the insurance company. I'm new to the area and I'd love to have recommendations for someone in the Seattle area that can give me a written appraisal.

I'm also in Seattle and highly recommend you take it into Bass Northwest. Evan will give you an honest and accurate appraisal.

You can also get a replacement valuation from Alembic.

But you definitely should go check out Bass NW.
